Mishimoto’s tools lean towards cooling and fluid work, as you might expect from its main range. For the cooling system there is a pressure tester with a vacuum purge kit, a no-spill coolant funnel kit and a fan clutch removal set. For oil and fluids there are screw-on oil funnels in adapter kits for different filler threads, fluid extractors in 5.6 and 9.5 litre sizes, and a claw-type oil filter tool.

Hose work has its own tools: hose removal pliers, a hose cutter, a flexible hose clamp tool set and a remote-action clamp tool for spring clamps in awkward places. There is also a bead roller for rolling a retaining bead onto intercooler pipe.

The rest is general workshop equipment: a bearing separator and puller set, a front-wheel-drive bearing kit, a harmonic balancer puller, a spring compressor, trim removal and pick sets, non-marring wheel nut sockets and a locking wheel nut master key set.

The vacuum purge kit is worth pairing with any radiator or hose job, because filling the system under vacuum avoids the air pockets that are otherwise hard to bleed. Check the adapter list against your car’s filler neck before relying on it.
