Mishimoto Intercoolers

Mishimoto’s intercooler listings cover the whole charge-air route: the intercooler, the pipes that feed it, and heat exchangers for air-to-water systems. Most are vehicle-specific kits, and the rest are universal parts.

The universal intercoolers come in lettered lines, G, J, M, R, S and Z. Each is listed with its core size in centimetres, its connection size (2.5 or 3 inches) and a black, silver or gold finish. For a fully custom build there are bare air-to-air race cores, listed by their dimensions only, to which you add your own end tanks. Intercooler kits, top-mount kits, performance intercoolers, and pipe kits split into hot-side and cold-side pipes are made for particular models, which the titles name. Heat exchangers serve cars with water-cooled charge air, and a universal heat exchanger kit comes with its own brushless fan.

For a universal core, measure the space in front of the radiator and the diameter of your pipework. For a kit, match the title to your model and years exactly, since pipe routing changes between generations.

A larger intercooler usually means longer pipework, so allow for extra couplers and clamps.
