QSP Fuel Lines

QSP’s fuel line listing mixes hose, rails and adapters for fuel system work. The braided hose is built on a CPE inner tube, covered either by stainless steel braid, from AN4 to AN20, or by Kevlar braid, in AN4, AN8 and AN10. The inside diameter is part of every title (8.7 mm for AN6 stainless, for example), so the line can be sized to the fuel flow.

For simpler jobs there is flexible NBR rubber fuel hose in 8 mm, and large-bore 50 mm and 57 mm fuel hose in black or transparent. Fuel rails in 12 mm, 14 mm and 18 mm, in black or blue, feed a set of injectors from one supply. Fuel line adapters convert 7.94 mm or 9.52 mm (5/16 or 3/8 inch) hard line to an AN6 or AN8 male fitting. These adapters are the usual way to join braided hose to a car’s original metal lines. For carburettor engines, single- and double-supply fuel lines run from a 7/8-inch AN20 inlet to AN6.

Braided hose needs AN hose ends to match its size and type. Use hose rated for the fuel you run, route lines clear of exhaust heat, and clip them to the chassis at short intervals.
