H&R Lowering Springs

H&R’s springs come as a standard lowering set, a deeper version and a height-adjustable kit. The Performance Lowering Springs are the core of the range: matched front and rear sets for the standard dampers, wound so the car comes down evenly rather than changing its rake. Where a model also has a deeper TIEF version, the title says so, often as “TIEFE AUSF.”, and that set lowers further than the standard one for the same car. The Height Adjustable Springs let you set the height on both axles with the supplied adjuster, which also allows the car to be corner-weighted without moving to coilovers.

Many models have several sets, separated by 2WD or 4WD, engine, front axle load, or equipment such as self-levelling rear suspension or adaptive dampers. Compare those details with the car before choosing.

The approval supplied with each set is recorded too: usually a TÜV certificate, often an ABE, and for some cars a PTA.

BMW, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes-Benz dominate the fitment data, with Ford, Opel, Seat, Skoda, Renault, Peugeot, Mazda and Honda next.
