H&R Damper Cancellation Kits

    H&R Damper Cancellation Kits guide

H&R’s cancellation kits are electronic modules for cars built with adaptive dampers. When those dampers are replaced with conventional ones, or with coilovers, the car still looks for them. The module switches the adaptive system off so that no suspension warning stays on the dashboard.

Each module is made for a particular model or group of related models. The titles give the model, often with a chassis code like F10 or G30 for a BMW 5 Series, and the H&R part number, which starts 930. Some models have more than one module listed, for example for different years, so the product details, not just the title, decide which one fits.

BMW has the most modules listed, followed by Audi, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. The list goes on through Volkswagen, Alfa Romeo, Hyundai, Opel and Seat, and includes American makes such as Chevrolet, Cadillac and Tesla.

A cancellation kit is only needed if the adaptive dampers come out, so order it with the new springs or coilovers rather than afterwards. Budget for a wheel alignment once the suspension work is done.
