QSP Vacuum Hose

QSP’s vacuum hose is small-bore silicone hose for boost, vacuum and breather lines, from 2 mm to 19 mm inside diameter, and it is sold in several forms. Plain transparent hose is sold by the metre and lets you see anything collecting inside a line. Coloured hose, in black, blue or red, comes in 5-metre rolls in the common 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm sizes. Reinforced hose, in black or blue, is the type usually chosen for boost control and wastegate reference lines, where a soft hose could collapse or swell.

Pick the bore from the spigot the hose goes on: vacuum hose should be a firm push fit over it. Colours can match the engine bay, but keeping one colour per function, such as boost signal lines in one and breathers in another, makes lines easy to trace later.

Secure each end with a small clip or cable tie on boosted lines, and replace any hose that has gone hard or split at the ends.
