K&N Filter Filter Accessories

K&N’s accessories are the parts around its filters rather than the filters themselves. The largest group is filter wraps, pre-filter covers that go over a round or conical filter to stop dirt and water before they reach the element. There are fabric wraps and foam wraps, and each wrap’s part number is the filter’s number with a suffix added, so RF-1001DK belongs on an RF-1001 filter.

The X-Stream parts form a second group: top filters, top assemblies and the plates that hold them, for building an open air cleaner on a carburettor or throttle body. Top and base plates, neoprene gaskets, spring clips and adapters, weld-on adapters included, complete that side.

For intake builds there are rubber couplers and reducing hoses, velocity stacks and stubstack air horns, air mass sensor adapters, vent and breather kits, and a few oil catch cans and separators.

Measure the filter or pipe before ordering a wrap or coupler, since both are sized to fit snugly and a loose wrap can shift on the filter. None of these parts is tied to a vehicle on the site.
