EBC 1-Piece Brake Rotors

EBC’s one-piece discs are sold as axle pairs, and the title names the face; for the slotted and dimpled lines, so do the letters at the start of the part number. Plain replacement discs, made to the original dimensions from G3000 cast iron, form the largest group. USR discs carry straight slots, GD discs combine curved slots with dimples, and BSD and SG are further slotted patterns. A smaller set of standard-grade discs includes cross-drilled versions.

Choose by use. The plain discs suit a like-for-like replacement, while EBC describes the GD discs as intended for road, light race, rally and track-day use. Each listing gives the axle, the vented or solid construction, the diameter, the height and the minimum thickness, which is the figure to measure against at every service.

The fitment data is broad, with Ford, BMW and Audi at the top, followed by Toyota, Volkswagen, Honda and Mercedes-Benz, and Mazda, Chevrolet, Opel and Nissan close behind.

New discs need new pads, bedded in together. If you move from plain to slotted discs, expect the pads to wear out a little sooner.
