Straight Flow Exhaust Tips

Straight Flow’s exhaust tips are universal, chosen by size and style rather than by car. The titles give the figures that matter: the inlet diameter that fits over your tailpipe, from 51 to 63 mm; the outlet diameter you see at the bumper, from 76 to 114 mm; and the length. Slant-cut tips quote a pair of lengths, such as 240/215, for the long and short sides of the angled face.

After the size, the styles divide several ways. The finish is black or silver. The face is either straight cut or slant cut, and some tips are offset, with the outlet set off-centre from the inlet so it can line up with a bumper opening. Double tips put twin outlets on a shared inlet, and several listings are sold as sets.

Check the tailpipe’s outside diameter before choosing the inlet, and allow enough overlap for the clamp or weld. Check the outlet against the cut-out in the bumper as well: a large outlet on a short tip can end up close to the bumper edge, where heat will mark the paint over time.
