QSP Racing Shoes

QSP’s racing shoes are kart shoes: low-cut suede shoes, sold as a pair. They come in black, blue or red, in European sizes 38 to 47 in black and 38 to 42 in blue and red.

The listings do not state an FIA homologation, which is usual for kart shoes. For car racing in a series that requires homologated footwear, look for shoes listed with FIA 8856-2018 homologation instead, and check the rules of your championship before you buy.

Try them on with the socks you race in, since a racing shoe should fit closely without pinching at the toes. Suede marks easily and soaks up water, so dry the shoes at room temperature, away from a heater, after a wet session. Brush the nap once they are dry to keep it from matting. Store them with the rest of your kit in a dry, ventilated bag rather than a sealed one.
