Haltech Modules & Expanders

Haltech’s modules and expanders add inputs, outputs and functions that the ECU does not provide on its own. The IO expander boxes, the IO 12 in A and B versions and the Nexus IO16, connect over CAN and add channels for extra sensors or outputs. Each is offered as the box only, with plugs and pins, or with a flying-lead harness. The HPI4, HPI6 and HPI8 high-power igniters drive 4, 6 or 8 coils that need a separate igniter, again as a bare module or with plugs or a harness.

Around them sit the actuators and interfaces. The list starts with electronic throttle bodies from 60 to 82 mm with connector kits, a drive-by-wire pedal connector kit, boost control solenoids with 3 or 4 ports and a CO2 boost control kit. It continues with electronic wastegates, an idle air control kit, a DC motor driver, and switch panels and a rotary trim module for adjustments from the driver’s seat. Converters and adapters handle tacho, analogue, GPS speed, fuel level and gear-selector signals, and an interface is listed for 4L-series automatic gearboxes.

Before adding a module, check that your ECU has a free CAN connection or the spare channels it needs.
