ACT, short for Advanced Clutch Technology, is an American clutch maker, and its range here covers the whole clutch assembly: complete kits, clutch discs, pressure plates, flywheels, release bearings and the small parts in between.
The discs show how the range is organised. Street discs come sprung or rigid, and race discs use four-pad or six-pad designs, again sprung or rigid. Pressure plates are listed as Heavy Duty or Xtreme and the XACT flywheels as Streetlite or Prolite, and twin-disc and Mod-Twin kits are listed as well.

Description
6240208 is a 6-pad spring-centered race discs made with high quality ceramic friction materials. The engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. The heavy duty torsional dampening springs are stronger, in most cases, than standard springs and are provided in the best sizes and spring rates to suit the application. The 6-pad, spring-centered disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat and for smoother engagement.
