Stilo Open-Face Helmets

Stilo’s open-face helmets are mostly rally helmets, with a smaller group of Turismo helmets for circuit racing. Most rally models come with intercom electronics fitted, and the Venti family has a fixed microphone boom and an adjustable sun visor.

The rally line-up is the Venti WRC and Venti Trophy, each also in a newer Venti4 version, the Trophy Des Plus, and the plainer Sport Jet and Sport Plus. Of the last two, only the Sport Plus has electronics. Within each family the choice is the shell: composite at the entry point, then carbon in normal-, medium- and high-tensile grades, with the Zero and 8860 models built to FIA 8860-2018. The circuit Turismo helmets come in composite, carbon and Piuma Carbon, again with 8860 versions.

The deciding question is the homologation your series requires, FIA 8859 (2015 or 2024) or FIA 8860-2018, and Snell SA2020 or SA2025 where those are accepted. Nearly every model is HANS-compatible, and sizes run from 54 to 64.

Choose the intercom wiring to suit the car’s system, and measure your head circumference against the size chart before ordering.
