Stilo
Stilo was founded in 1999 by the former Italian rally champion Ludovico Fassitelli and is based in Bergamo, Italy. It specialises in helmets and communication systems. The range here covers full-face, open-face, WRX and kart helmets in the ST5, ST6, Venti and Trophy families, rally intercoms and radio adapters, and a wide choice of spare parts.
For each helmet, the product data lists the homologation (FIA 8859-2015 and 8859-2024, FIA 8860-2018, or Snell SA2020, SA2025 and CMR2016) and the discipline (circuit, rally or karting). It also gives the shell material, from composite to carbon in several grades, and whether the helmet is HANS-compatible and has an intercom fitted. Check the homologation your series asks for before choosing.
The spares include visors in several tints, cheek and top pads in different thicknesses, anti-fog kits, HANS anchors, peaks and cables for connecting Stilo helmets to other intercom and radio systems.

Description
The Stilo Open Face Carbon Turismo is the most affordable carbon helmet from the Stilo Open Face series with an FIA 8859-2015 homologation. Like all other Stilo helmets from the Open Face series, this version can be called very complete, with the well-known fixed microphone boom and handy adjustable sun visor which can optionally be fitted with a short visor. As one would expect from a helmet in this class, the clips for the use of an FHR system are of course not missing.
With Stilo’s Open Face series, the specialists sit down together with various top drivers around the world sit down to see what the perfect open face helmet should look like and what features it should have. The interior paddings have been completely redesigned for even more wearing comfort and the fully integrated microphone boom has been redesigned for crystal-clear audio quality. The communication connection in the shell has also changed in shape, which provides a sleeker appearance and better protection of the plug. In addition, the Stilo Open Face has been developed for the use of Stilo’s wireless intercom, where there are no longer any cables between the helmet and the intercom in the car, but it can also be used with traditional wired intercoms.
The Turismo version of the Stilo Open Face series has been developed for use on the circuit where built-in speakers are generally not allowed. The microphone is fixed in the helmet, which is permitted, but the speakers must be used as separate earplugs. For those who use the helmet for both rallies and on the track, there is also a set of hearing protectors with speakers that can easily be installed afterwards, but can be removed just as easily. The distance from the microphone to the mouth can also be adjusted for the best recording of the voice. The adjustable sun visor can optionally be fitted with a short visor, which is ideal when the sun is low.
