Size guide: how to measure

Our helmet sizes are Stilo’s head circumference in cm. Stilo labels two sizes “L”: 58 and 59 on ST6, Venti and WRX helmets, 59 and 60 on ST5-based helmets.

How to measure

  • Measure the circumference with a flexible tape measure at the position shown in Stilo's figure.
  • Measure the head at its widest part, above the eyebrows and ears.
  • If you are considering wearing a balaclava, measure your head while wearing it.

Fit

  • It is essential to always try on the helmet before purchasing it. The helmet size relates to the circumference (measured in centimetres) of the head.
  • The helmet must be snug, but without pressure. It should remain firmly in place when you shake your head.
  • When worn, it must not be possible to rotate the helmet around the head.

For each helmet, the product data lists the homologation (FIA 8859-2015 and 8859-2024, FIA 8860-2018, or Snell SA2020, SA2025 and CMR2016) and the discipline (circuit, rally or karting). It also gives the shell material, from composite to carbon in several grades, and whether the helmet is HANS-compatible and has an intercom fitted. The spares include visors in several tints, cheek and top pads in different thicknesses, anti-fog kits, HANS anchors, peaks and cables for connecting Stilo helmets to other intercom and radio systems.

Description

The Venti4 Trophy Jet from Stilo takes over from the hugely popular Venti Trophy Jet helmet. This version uses the same EPS cheek pad technology found in the WRC helmet range, which provides increased protection in lateral impacts. The Venti4 Trophy Jet helmet is not fitted with an intercom but does include ear cups and can be later upgraded with either the WRC or Trophy helmet intercom kits if required. Available with factory fitted FHR / HANS posts.
