KW
KW Suspensions is based in Fichtenberg, Germany, and its range here is almost entirely coilovers. They are set out as a ladder of adjustment: the V1 has fixed damping, the V3 adjusts rebound and compression separately, and the V2 sits between them. V4 and V5 versions are also listed for some cars. Comfort versions of the V2 and Clubsport versions of the V3 and V5 widen the choice. The DDC system, with its own ECU kits, brings electronically controlled coilovers to cars that left the factory with adaptive dampers.
The coilovers are listed for a very wide range of makes. Volkswagen, Audi and BMW account for the largest share, followed by Seat, Skoda, Mercedes-Benz, Opel and Porsche, with Ford, Mini, Alfa Romeo and Cupra among the rest.
Where the other suspension brands here mix coilovers with springs, spacers and dampers, KW concentrates on the coilover itself. Choosing one is therefore mainly a question of how much adjustment you will use.
