King Bearings
King Engine Bearings was founded in 1960 by Shmuel Zaslavsky in Kiryat Gat, Israel, where research, engineering and primary production still take place today. The XP race series is the headline programme, built on a tri-metal copper-lead structure with a nickel barrier and lead-tin-copper Babbitt overlay branded pMaxBlack, rated 24 percent harder than conventional tri-metal race bearings. The XPC variant adds a pMaxKote nano-composite polymer coating for additional wear resistance without changing wall thickness. Geometric features such as U-Groove, ElliptiX and RadiaLock are engineered for forged aftermarket cranks running sustained high loads, with coverage focused on Honda K, Nissan RB, Mitsubishi 4G63, GM LS and Ford EcoBoost platforms.
