ACL Bearing Company traces its origins to 1949, when its plant opened in Launceston, Tasmania to supply Australia's emerging automotive industry, and the firm has since become the only engine bearing manufacturer based in Australia. Race Series performance bearings draw on experience built in Brabham Formula 1 engines during the 1960s and refined through decades in the Australian Supercars Championship. The tri-metal copper-lead Duraglide F780 construction handles the loads of forged aftermarket crankshafts and sustained high cylinder pressure. Coverage centres on the engines tuners actually run: Honda B and K series, Nissan SR20 and RB26, Subaru EJ, Mitsubishi 4G63 and Toyota 2JZ.
