Ultra Racing Upper Braces
791 products
Ultra Racing’s upper braces tie the chassis together at both ends of the car. Front strut bars are the largest group, mostly two-point bars between the towers, with four-point H-braces and three-point fender brackets for cars where the wings or bulkhead can take an extra mount. At the back there are upper strut bars, some of them adjustable, room bars across the cabin, C-pillar bars and rear torsion bars.
Some listings carry the Ultra-R name. The part number is often in the title, where a code such as TW2, RE2, FD3 or RO2 gives the type and the number of mounting points.
The fitment data puts Japanese makes first, led by Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mazda, with BMW and Mercedes-Benz the strongest European makes, and Mitsubishi and Subaru also well covered.
A two-point front bar is the simplest place to start, and it usually bolts to the existing top-mount studs. H-braces and fender brackets tie in more of the body shell but take up more space. A room bar or C-pillar bar costs some access to the rear seats or load area, so think about how the car is used day to day.
