Ultra Racing Lower Braces
439 products
Ultra Racing’s lower braces bolt across the underside of the car, tying together the points where the subframes and suspension arms meet the body. They are listed for the front, the rear and, on some cars, the middle of the floor.
The main choice is the number of points. A two-point tie bar is a single bar between two mounts, usually across the front or rear subframe, and tie bars are the most common part here. Four-point braces, including the front H-braces, tie in four mounts, and larger rear and mid braces run to six, seven or eight points. The part number repeats the layout: LA marks a front lower brace and RL a rear lower one, followed by the number of points, so UR-LA4 is a four-point front brace.
BMW has the most listings, ahead of Honda, Mazda, Toyota and Mercedes-Benz, and the range continues through Nissan, Audi, Volkswagen, Ford, Peugeot, Lexus and Kia.
Lower braces use existing mounting points but hang below the floor. On a lowered car, check ground clearance and the space around the exhaust, and make sure a brace does not block drain plugs or jacking points.
