Bilstein Suspension Springs

Bilstein’s springs here are its B3 OE Replacement line: coil springs that restore a car’s original ride height and spring rate. They are sold one axle position at a time, and the title says it plainly: B3, front or rear spring, then the model, for example ‘Opel Corsa D’ or ‘Mercedes C-Class W202’. A few springs are made for one side of the car only, for models whose left and right springs differ.

As the springs are chosen by car, the vehicle listing and the product details do the work. Some listings add other body styles or related models that use the same spring, so read the full list rather than the title alone. Engine, gearbox and equipment can change the spring on the same model, which is why one car may show several.

Mercedes-Benz has the most listings, closely followed by Audi, Volkswagen, BMW and Opel, then Ford, Seat, Skoda, Renault, Citroën and Hyundai.

B3 springs are designed for standard-length dampers. If the dampers are worn, replacing springs and dampers together saves taking the corner apart twice.
