ARP Flywheel / Pressure Plate Bolts

    133 products

ARP’s kits in this category hold the drivetrain together where the engine meets the gearbox. Flywheel bolt kits secure a manual flywheel to the crankshaft, flexplate kits do the same for an automatic, pressure plate kits hold the clutch cover to the flywheel, and bellhousing kits, as bolts or as studs, fix the gearbox to the engine.

Most kits are made for a named engine, from Japanese four-cylinder units to American V8s, and state the number of pieces. Some are universal, such as bellhousing stud kits sold by diameter and head style, and the product data gives the thread size, under-head length and socket size for many.

The other choices are head style and material. Kits come with 12-point or hex heads; a 12-point head needs less room around it, while a hex head takes an ordinary socket. Most are chrome moly steel, with stainless bellhousing kits and an L19 kit for a Top Fuel flywheel.

Only a handful of kits are linked to cars, for Toyota, Honda and Nissan.

Fit flywheel bolts with the lubricant ARP specifies and torque them to its figure; many engines need new bolts whenever the flywheel comes off.
