Koni
Koni's range here is dampers, organised by line. STR.T is the non-adjustable line, and Special Active uses FSD (frequency selective damping), a self-adjusting valve design. Sport, Special, Classic, Heavy Track and HT Raid make up the rest, with a few Racing dampers. The Classic titles name older models, and the Heavy Track and HT Raid titles name pick-ups, SUVs and off-road models. Each damper is sold for one axle position, front or rear.
Some Koni lines are rebound-adjustable, which lets you change the damping after fitting, for example when the springs or the way the car is used changes.
Vehicle fitment is attached to some Koni dampers, most often for BMW, Toyota, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Mazda and Mini models. For the rest, the title gives the model and axle.
Compared with the other damper range in the Shock Absorbers section, which is mostly non-adjustable gas-pressure units in graded lines, Koni puts more weight on adjustable and self-adjusting dampers. It also adds lines for classic and off-road vehicles.
