EBC
EBC Brakes was founded in 1978 in the United Kingdom and has grown into one of the world's largest manufacturers of aftermarket brake pads and rotors. With manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA, EBC supplies brake components for motorcycles, cars, and light trucks across road, track day, and motorsport applications.
Their performance pad range is organised by compound colour and intended use: Greenstuff for everyday road driving, Redstuff for performance road use, Yellowstuff for fast road and light track use, and Bluestuff NDX for dedicated track day and circuit driving. For more demanding motorsport use, the Orangestuff and RP-X compounds offer higher temperature thresholds and consistent bite under sustained abuse.
EBC rotors are equally popular, with their slotted and dimpled Ultimax, 3GD, and BSD ranges widely used on circuit cars. Available for an exceptionally wide range of vehicles, EBC is a go-to brand when mixing everyday usability with track capability.

Description
DP8197/2RPX – EBC RP-X Brake Pads; Front EBC Racings’ RP‑X compound is an ultra‑high performance track and race pad designed for performance vehicles driven hard on track and for dedicated race cars. The RP‑X possesses a high friction level of 0.55 between 0 – 850°C and achieves 100% brake effect from cold. This makes RP-X an excellent choice for sprint racing or hill climb events, where full brake performance is essential without requiring any ‘warming up’, but also makes RP-X well suited to any type of circuit use where a high initial bite and powerful brake response is desirable. Compared to EBC’s RP‑1, the RP‑X has a 25% increase in friction coefficient across its working temperature range with a much more ‘positive’ initial bite. This characteristic potentially makes RP‑X more suitable on heavy or inherently under‑servoed vehicles. For light‑medium weight vehicles, cars without big brake kits fitted, or vehicles with no ABS, the less fierce nature track material may be preferable.
