EBC Brakes was founded in 1978 in the United Kingdom and has grown into one of the world's largest manufacturers of aftermarket brake pads and rotors. With manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA, EBC supplies brake components for motorcycles, cars, and light trucks across road, track day, and motorsport applications.
Their performance pad range is organised by compound colour and intended use: Greenstuff for everyday road driving, Redstuff for performance road use, Yellowstuff for fast road and light track use, and Bluestuff NDX for dedicated track day and circuit driving. For more demanding motorsport use, the Orangestuff and RP-X compounds offer higher temperature thresholds and consistent bite under sustained abuse.

Description
DP42260R – EBC Yellowstuff Brake Pads; Front EBC Yellowstuff brake pads are a first in a new range of ‘Hybrid’ materials that can be safely and legally used on worlds roads, are a high friction upgrade pad for all fast street use and can also be used on the track with proper bedding. Yellowstuff has been the flagship pad by EBC for over a decade and gives instant brake response, great feel and modulations with silk-smooth noise free braking and was also improved in 2021 to be copper free and conform to all new legislations for the environment.
They are also fully shimmed, chamfered and slotted. EBC Yellowstuff arrives with pad surface Brake-in coating to accelerate pad bedding after install. With a stable friction coefficient of 0.42mu right up to race temperatures of 450C,Yellowstuff is a very popular pad amongst kit car drivers and lighter race cars.
Although heat scorched, the compound does require careful bedding in before race use. If planning track use we recommend using the pad for a period on the street to pre bed before making a track excursion.
