DBA
DBA, Disc Brakes Australia, was founded in Sydney in 1976. Its range here is mostly brake discs, with pads to match and a few Street Series calipers.
The discs are grouped by series and slot pattern. Street Series T2 and 4000 Series T3 discs make up most of the range, and 5000 Series two-piece discs are listed along with their replacement rings. Most DBA discs here have a bi-slotted face, some also cross-drilled and a few plain. Many use the Kangaroo Paw internal vane design, and a large share are listed as ECE R90 approved. The pads step up from Street Series (an OE-type ceramic) and Street Performance to Xtreme Performance (a semi-metallic carbon fibre sport pad) and Racing Performance.
Toyota has the most listings, followed by Audi, Volkswagen, Subaru, Nissan, Ford, BMW and Lexus. The Subaru Impreza, Audi TT and A3, Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon feature most often.
Next to the other disc ranges here, DBA is the one built around slot patterns and internal vane design rather than plain, drilled or dimpled faces.

Description
DBA2723EX – Street Series XGold Brake Rotor; Rear DBA’s X Gold rotors offer all the advantages of the Street Series but feature a premium non-directional cross-drilled and slotted design along with an appealing gold finish on the rotor hub. The distinctive cross-drilled and slotted design in the Street Series X Gold enhances brake performance by increasing the number of exit points, facilitating the escape of brake pad friction dust and gases through both the cross-drilled holes and slots.
DBA Street Series rotors stand as the optimal selection for drivers aiming for OE-level performance improvement. These rotors boast enhanced heat transfer and thermal efficiency, achieved through center-split core castings. The use of a Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) machine-turned finish minimizes disc thickness variation, preventing pad “knock” and ensuring prolonged durability.
Designed as direct OE replacement disc rotors, the Street Series distinguishes itself with superior manufacturing processes, premium materials, and proven safety features, supported by over 40 years of braking expertise from DBA. Although delivering a performance benefit similar to the T2 slot rotors, DBA Street Series X Gold rotors are a favored choice for show cars, adding a touch of style to the braking system.
