Description

The PBS Pro Track compound is engineered for drivers who want the perfect balance between track-ready performance and real-world drivability. Developed by racers for racers, this semi-metallic compound delivers confident stopping power, excellent pedal feel, and predictable modulation, making it an ideal choice for spirited road driving, occasional track days, sprint events, and wet-weather competition.

Unlike aggressive full-race compounds, the Pro Track is tuned with a slightly milder initial bite, allowing for smoother brake control and improved confidence in low-grip situations. This makes it especially effective on wet surfaces, lower-grip tyre setups, or lightweight performance cars where precise modulation matters just as much as outright stopping force.

Operating across a broad 0–700 °C temperature range, the Pro Track maintains stable and fade-resistant braking even during demanding sessions. Its semi-metallic formulation offers a friction coefficient of approximately 0.40–0.48μ, providing strong deceleration while remaining easier to control than more aggressive race-oriented compounds.

Another standout characteristic of the Pro Track compound is its refined behavior during everyday use. Compared to harsher motorsport pads, it produces less noise, lower dust levels, and reduced rotor wear, making it an excellent dual-purpose solution for enthusiasts who drive their cars both on the road and on track. Thanks to PBS’s heat-curing manufacturing process, bedding-in is also quick and straightforward, so you can spend less time preparing and more time driving.
