Hawk 1-Piece Brake Rotors guide
Every Hawk disc here belongs to the Talon line, and the part number tells you the face at a glance: HTC discs are slotted and cross-drilled, HTS discs are slotted only. Hawk says the discs are cast from grade 3000 iron and black-coated against corrosion, and that the curved hook slots are taken from its DTC racing discs. They are sold in pairs.
Hawk positions Talon for fast road driving, towing and track days. The drilled HTC version covers most applications; if you prefer an undrilled face, check whether an HTS number exists for your car, because the slotted-only discs cover fewer applications.
In the fitment data Toyota comes first, followed by Ford, Subaru and Lexus, then Cadillac, Honda, Dodge, Chevrolet and Mazda.
Pick the pad compound for how the car will be used before you settle on the disc, and bed new discs and pads in carefully, especially with a track compound. Check the listing’s diameter and hat height against the old disc before fitting, since the same model can use different sizes.
