Ajusa Gaskets & Seals

Ajusa’s range here is built around complete gasket sets: the gaskets and seals for a full engine rebuild, packed together for one engine. Set titles give the engine as make, displacement and code, with the valve count, and each listing adds the matching engines and an Ajusa reference number to quote when ordering. The engines run from older eight-valve units to 16-, 20- and 24-valve designs.

Alongside the sets are Ajusa Motorsport head gaskets in multi-layer steel (MLS). These are listed by bore and compressed thickness, from 82.5 to 101 mm and 0.60 to 1.20 mm. You can choose a thickness that sets the compression ratio and squish clearance you want, or that makes up for a skimmed head or block.

Some sets are also linked to vehicles: Subaru, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Peugeot and Nissan models such as the Impreza, the Z3, the MR2, the 306 and the Civic. Whatever you fit, clean both faces and check them for flatness first, and use new head bolts or studs where the engine maker calls for them.
