AEM Panel Air Filters

    99 products

Every AEM panel filter here is a DryFlow filter, AEM’s dry synthetic element, listed by part number alone. The numbers fall into a 21- family and a 28- family, with a few AE- numbers, and many 21- filters carry a letter suffix that separates versions of the same shape.

The listings give no dimensions or vehicle data, so the part number is the only reliable match. Take it from the filter already in the car if it is an AEM, from the AEM intake it belongs to, or from AEM’s own application data. Match the suffix as well as the number.

A dry element is a sensible choice where oil reaching the air mass sensor is a worry. Servicing needs only a cleaner made for synthetic media; cleaners of that kind are in the Filter Cleaning Products section.

If you are switching from an oiled filter to a dry one, clean the airbox and the intake tract first, so the new element does not pick up old oil residue. Check the seal all the way round when the box is closed, and look at the element at every service rather than waiting for a fixed interval.
