Porsche 911 997 Brake Pads

Pads for the 997 are built with the circuit in mind, though the list still starts at road grades, and every set names its axle. Check the model, from Carrera to Turbo, GT2 and GT3, in the fitment of each listing before turning to compounds.

For road use the street grades are Hawk’s HPS family and its ceramic PC, EBC Redstuff and Ferodo DS Performance. A 997 driven hard on public roads, with an occasional track day, suits the sport grades: EBC Yellowstuff or Bluestuff NDX, Ferodo DS2500 or Hawk HP Plus.

At the race end, Hawk lists Blue 9012, HT-10 and ER-1 as well as DTC-60 to DTC-80, and EBC contributes RP-1, Orangestuff and RP-X. Ferodo has DS3000, DS3.12 and DS1.11, and Girodisc its GP30, GP35 and GP40, with DBA Racing Performance and PBS ProRace alongside.
