SRS Exhaust Mufflers

SRS Exhaust’s silencers are universal parts, sized by diameter rather than made for a particular exhaust.

The plain silencers are listed in diameters from 60 mm to 110 mm, and the 100 mm version comes with single- or double-wall sound insulation. They are supplied with screws and bolts for mounting. Adjustable silencers are listed in 86, 100 and 110 mm. Alongside them are G-series silencers, the G35, G50-26 and G55-37, a turn-down ‘Dolphin’ silencer for 2.5-inch pipe and a 76 mm (3-inch) resonator. Hangers in large and small sizes complete the list. Where the product data gives a material, it is stainless steel.

Because diameter is the working figure here, measure the pipe or tip the silencer has to meet and compare it with the size in the title. The double-wall version adds a second skin of insulation, which helps where the silencer sits close to a bumper or the floor.

A new silencer rarely sits exactly where the old one did, so order hangers with it and check that the tailpipe clears the bodywork with the engine rocking on its mounts.
