SRS Exhaust Catalytic Converters

SRS Exhaust’s catalytic converters are, apart from a few universal parts, made for Honda, and each title names the models and model years it is made for. They are polished 304 stainless steel, come with gaskets and mounting hardware, and bolt to the original mounting points.

Direct-fit converters, in P-type and S-type bodies, replace the original catalyst. Catalytic converter and test pipe units combine a catalyst with a straight section, and the adjustable versions slide to length so that one unit covers several models. Race versions use a 200-cell core, a more open matrix than a road catalyst. The universal parts are high-flow 200-cell converters for 2.5-inch or 3-inch pipe, and ‘Cell Fix’ units with a small catalyst for cars that monitor the converter with a second oxygen sensor.

Many of the converters have a boss for an oxygen sensor, with a bolt supplied to blank it if it is not needed.

Fit new exhaust gaskets and fresh nuts on the manifold studs, and check the oxygen sensor readings with the engine management afterwards.
