Remus Axle-Back Systems

Remus names its rear systems by type, and the type decides the paperwork. Axle-Back Systems replace the rear silencer section and are all listed with EC type approval. Racing Axle-Back Systems, among them a titanium version, are listed without it. Sport Exhaust listings are rear silencers for older models, and almost all of them carry EC type approval too.

On most axle-back and racing systems the tailpipes are a separate choice made on the product page. The options run from chrome and black chrome to carbon, carbon with a titanium insert and titanium in brushed, black PVD or scotched finishes. The pipes come in twin or quad layouts, between 84 and 102 mm across, with rolled, bevelled or sharp-cut ends. Pick the tailpipe style once the system is chosen, since the system decides the pipe count.

Each title gives the model, engine and power output in kW the system is made for, often with the body style, so match all of them. Many recent systems also state whether they suit a car fitted with a petrol particulate filter (GPF), so check that against the exhaust your car was built with.
