K&N Filter
K&N was founded in 1969 in Riverside, California, by Ken Johnson and Norm McDonald, the K and the N of the name. Its filters use washable, reusable oiled cotton gauze, cleaned and re-oiled with a service kit rather than thrown away, and the range here is built on them.
It covers replacement panel filters, complete Performance Air Intake Systems, universal clamp-on, round and conical filters, cabin air filters, crankcase breather filters, carburettor filters and fuel filters. The cleaning and oiling kits, foam wraps, top plates and clips that go with them are listed too.
K&N parts are listed by part number and filter type rather than by car. If you are replacing a K&N filter, its part number is the quickest route; for a universal filter, work from the neck diameter and the space available.
Among the intake brands on TrackToolFactory, K&N has the broadest mix of filter types, from engine and cabin air to breathers, carburettors and fuel. If you prefer a filter that is washed without oil, another panel filter range here uses dry synthetic media.

Description
The K&N 57-3014 FIPK air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air box. K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce intake restriction and improve air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 57-3014 air intake comes with a large, round chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter assembly that installs onto the throttle body within the previous air cleaner space. Air is directed through the air filter into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 60 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points accommodating the factory crank case vent line. The tools needed are a screwdriver, a ratchet set and an 8 millimeter wrench.
