Founded by Richard Maskin in 1981 in Oak Park, Michigan, Dart Machinery has grown into the leading American manufacturer of aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds and engine blocks. Now headquartered at its Technology Center in Troy with CNC production in Warren, Michigan, Dart built its reputation on the aluminum Hemi heads that helped break drag racing's 300 mph barrier before expanding into affordable Iron Eagle and PRO 1 cylinder heads for small and big block Chevy V8s. Cast SHP iron blocks and the recent Iron Eagle 2JZ extend that range to street and race Ford and Toyota platforms.
