Subaru Impreza GH Brake System
6 subcategories · 184 products
The Impreza GH hatchback page mixes brakes for quite different cars, and the disc sizes show it. Front discs listed for the R 1.5 and R 2.0 are 277 mm, those for the WRX and the 2.0 diesel 292 to 295 mm, and those for the STi 325 or 326 mm. At the rear, the STi has a 316 mm disc against 286 mm elsewhere.
Pads follow the same split, so read the engine in each listing’s fitment before comparing compounds. Road and fast-road choices include EBC’s Redstuff and Yellowstuff, Hawk HPS and HP Plus and Ferodo DS2500. For the circuit, Hawk’s DTC-60 and DTC-70, Ferodo DS1.11 and Pagid RSL 29 lead a long race list, and several Ferodo and Pagid race pads fit either axle.
One-piece discs come from DBA in Street Series T2, 4000 Series T3 and HD form, from EBC plain, slotted or dimpled, and from Hawk as Talon discs. Girodisc lists two-piece floating assemblies, and for the rest of the system there are EBC braided lines and Girodisc titanium backing plates.
