Porsche 911 991 Brake System

5 subcategories · 162 products

The 991 page covers both phases, the 991.1 with its 3.4 and 3.8 Carreras and the 991.2 with the 3.0 twin-turbo engine, as well as the Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS. Disc sizes differ accordingly: 330 mm for the Carrera and 380 mm for the GT3 and Turbo, so check which model each listing names.

For discs, the 991 list is built around two-piece floating assemblies from Girodisc, with EBC’s SG2F as an alternative, while one-piece DBA and EBC discs are listed for the 330 mm Carrera brakes. Girodisc titanium backing plates are there too.

The pad list is weighted towards the circuit, with Pagid’s RSL, RSC and RST families, Hawk’s DTC-50 to DTC-70 and its Black compound, Girodisc GP pads and race grades from EBC and Ferodo. Road pads include EBC Redstuff, Hawk PC and HPS 5.0, and sport grades such as Yellowstuff, Bluestuff NDX, HP Plus and DS2500 sit in between.
