BMW 3 Series E30 (1982–1994)

Spring-and-damper kits from AP and ST lead the E30 suspension listing, with Bilstein B12 Pro-Kits, Eibach and H&R Cup kits behind them. For cars that keep their dampers, there are AP, ST, H&R and Eibach lowering springs. KW V1 and V3 and BC Racing coilovers suit a more serious track car, and Eibach’s anti-roll bars include three-position adjustable versions. Before any of that, attend to the brakes: fresh fluid, Hawk, EBC or Ferodo pads, a large share of them race compounds, and EBC discs and braided lines. Tyres and alignment follow, sourced elsewhere. On a car this old, check every rubber bush and hose as well. Saloon, convertible and Touring models from 1982 to 1994 are covered.
