Pulsar Turbo Compressor Wheels

Despite the category name, Pulsar’s wheels here include turbine wheels as well as compressor wheels. The compressor wheels are billet replacements for the PTX Gen II turbos, one for each model from PSR2860 to PSR3584, plus drop-in billet wheels for a factory diesel turbo.

The turbine wheels are sized by their two diameters, such as 83/74 mm or 96/88 mm, for the 400-series frames. There are also upgraded 9-blade turbine wheels for the 300 and 400 frames, in journal-bearing or dual ball-bearing versions, a turbine wheel for the PSR3584 Gen2 only, and a 10-blade drop-in turbine wheel for a factory diesel turbo.

A wheel has to match the housing it runs in and the bearing system of the centre section. Check the turbo model, the Gen II marking and the bearing type in the title before ordering.

Any new wheel should be balanced together with the shaft and centre section as an assembly before the turbo goes back on the engine. Fit new seals and check the shaft play while the turbo is apart, and fill it with clean oil before the engine is started.
