Girodisc Caliper Rebuild Kits

Girodisc’s caliper kits are for refreshing the calipers a car already has. A full rebuild kit holds new piston seals and dust boots, and a dust boot kit replaces the boots alone. Both are silicone and sold per caliper, so order one for each caliper you rebuild. The part number shows the axle: CCRK1 and CDB1 are front kits, CCRK2 and CDB2 rear kits.

The product data lists the piston sizes each kit is made for, such as 30/34/38 mm. Those figures are the surest way to match a kit, because the same caliper family is used on many cars. Measure the pistons if you are unsure.

Titanium backing plate kits, sold as sets for two calipers, fit between the pads and the pistons, and caliper stud kits are listed as well.

Vehicle fitment is attached to only part of the range, mainly Porsche, Chevrolet, Lamborghini, Cadillac, BMW and Audi models, so use the piston sizes for the rest.

Rebuild both calipers on an axle together, clean the bores and pistons thoroughly, and refill and bleed the system with fresh fluid afterwards.
