AEM Intake Pipes

AEM’s range here is short and practical: charge pipe kits for turbocharged engines, and the silicone connectors used to join intake and boost pipework. The kits carry part numbers in the AEM-26 series and replace the factory charge piping of the car they are made for, so match a kit to your car by its part number.

The connectors are the larger group. Straight couplers join pipes of equal diameter, and coupler reducers step from one diameter to another. A hump hose (2.5 in to 3 in, 3 in long) takes up engine movement or a small misalignment between pipes. Each has its own AEM-5 part number, so measure the outside diameter at both ends of the joint and pick the coupler or reducer that matches.

On a boosted system, each pipe end needs a bead to stop the coupler blowing off, and the clamps should sit behind the bead. Many builders use T-bolt clamps on the larger diameters because they pull up evenly all round.
