Haltech
Haltech was founded in Sydney in 1986 and makes standalone engine management. Its range here is built around two ECU families. Elite runs from the 550 to the 2500, and Nexus includes the S2, S3, R3 and R5 and the Rebel LS and JZ versions. The Nexus R5 combines the ECU with power distribution and CAN keypad control.
Around the ECUs sits everything needed to install and wire one: plug-and-play adapter harnesses, universal and terminated main harnesses, and sensors for pressure, temperature, oxygen and position. The list continues with CAN cables and modules, thermocouple amplifiers, fuse boxes, ignition coils, injectors, and plugs and pins for the common connector types.
Most parts are chosen by ECU model and connector type. Where a Haltech part is tied to a car, it is usually a Nissan Silvia or Skyline, a Subaru Impreza, or a Honda S2000, CRX or Civic.

Description
HARNESS OVERVIEW
Ideal for modified street cars, engine swaps and custom wiring jobs. The Universal Wire-in Harness has a set of ECU connectors at one end and unterminated wires at the other. All the wires at the unterminated end are colour coded and clearly labelled. Connect your Haltech ECU to the terminated end and follow your wiring diagram for all the engine connections. Load your base map and you’re ready to go!

ECU OVERVIEW
Haltech’s Nexus S2 is the successor to the acclaimed Elite 1500, offering a serious upgrade in performance and functionality. The S2 combines all the classic functionality of the Elite 1500 with new features and the superior processing power of the successful Nexus platform.
- 4 x peak/hold injector drivers (can be used as low side drive outputs)
- 4 x low current ignition outputs (can be used as low side drive outputs)
- 6 x low side drive outputs, PWM capable (DPOs)
- 4 x push-pull / half bridge outputs (8A, PWM capable), eg for electronic throttle
- 1 x ECR output
- 11 x 0-5V analog inputs with redundancy for electronic throttle and switchable 5V pullup
- Trigger and home inputs with differential inputs, adjustable thresholds and glitch filters
- 6 x synchronous pulsed inputs, zero crossing or adjustable thresholds – cam sensor inputs, frequency inputs or 0-5V analog inputs
