Haltech
Haltech was founded in Sydney in 1986 and makes standalone engine management. Its range here is built around two ECU families. Elite runs from the 550 to the 2500, and Nexus includes the S2, S3, R3 and R5 and the Rebel LS and JZ versions. The Nexus R5 combines the ECU with power distribution and CAN keypad control.
Around the ECUs sits everything needed to install and wire one: plug-and-play adapter harnesses, universal and terminated main harnesses, and sensors for pressure, temperature, oxygen and position. The list continues with CAN cables and modules, thermocouple amplifiers, fuse boxes, ignition coils, injectors, and plugs and pins for the common connector types.
Most parts are chosen by ECU model and connector type. Where a Haltech part is tied to a car, it is usually a Nissan Silvia or Skyline, a Subaru Impreza, or a Honda S2000, CRX or Civic.
Elsewhere in Engine Management you will find wideband controllers and gauges. Haltech is the range that covers the full installation, from the ECU and harness down to individual connector pins.

Description
The Haltech iC-7 is a 7-inch full-colour display dash, intended to replace individual analogue gauges. It connects directly to all current Haltech ECUs over CAN and offers custom screens, data logging, automatic dimming and a programmable multi-colour shift-light bar. Haltech also makes OBD-II and stand-alone versions.

- Set-up: user-configurable channels, units and alarms; user-definable inputs and outputs; I/O sharing with Haltech Elite and Nexus ECUs only

Compatibility (Haltech): all current Haltech ECUs via CAN. Also plug-and-play with these generic aftermarket ECU protocols: Link, MaxxECU, Microtech, MoTeC M1 series, MoTeC hundred series (M400, 600, 800 gold box ECUs), Syvecs.
What’s in the box: iC-7 display dash, 34-pin main connector harness (including spare pins for input wiring), DTM-4 to DTM-4 CAN extension cable 3.0 m (118 in), USB to M5 right-angle cable, USB cable, mounting screws, quick start guide, Haltech stickers and a fabric keyring tag.
