Diamond Pistons was founded in 1968 by Jim Cavallaro, Nick Plantus, and Warren Elkins in Michigan as a machine shop serving the muscle-car and Pro Stock drag racing scene. After Bob Fox acquired the company in 1999, Diamond pivoted exclusively to forged piston manufacturing and now produces both custom and shelf-stock forgings for nearly every modern performance platform. Each piston is CNC-machined from 2618 aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with offset pin bores, accumulator grooves, and ring-pack geometry tailored to the application. Diamond covers drag racing, circle track, road racing, and high-output street builds spanning LS, Coyote, Hemi, Subaru EJ, Honda K-series, and European turbo engines.
