Each set is machined from Steel PL12 MV — a martensitic chrome-molybdenum alloy with carbon content between 1.8 and 2.3 percent and a hardness rating of 39 to 45 HRC — engineered to balance wear resistance with predictable, repeatable machining behaviour under tight tolerances. Inserts are supplied in matched sets of four with a range of outer diameters held in stock through Race Winning Brands Europe.
