Suspension Springs
The springs in this category are OE-height replacement coil springs. They restore the original spring rate and stance to a car whose springs have sagged or broken, without changing the ride height. That makes them the choice when you want to keep the factory set-up.
Springs are listed for the front or rear axle. Within one model there are often several versions for different engines, drivetrains, equipment levels and axle loads, because a heavier engine or an optional sports suspension uses a different spring. Some titles also give the wire diameter, which helps match the spring you are replacing. When in doubt, compare the details with your registration documents and with any part number or colour marking on the old spring.
Coil springs are normally replaced in axle pairs so that both sides sit at the same height. A broken spring is often a sign that its partner is tired too. A sharp broken end can also cut a tyre, so check the tyre while the wheel is off.
While the spring is out, look at the spring seats and rubber isolators, the top mount and bearing, and the damper itself. The work to reach them is already done. Use a proper spring compressor, and have the alignment checked afterwards.
