Master Bushing Sets for Nissan 350Z Z33

    Master Bushing Sets guide

A master bushing set renews the suspension bushes of a whole car in one kit. The sets here are complete-car kits, listed by model range, suited to a full refresh of an older chassis or to a road and track build.

Bushes age together. Rubber hardens, cracks and takes a permanent set, so on an older car the geometry shifts under load at many points at once. The result is a car that feels loose in ways no single worn part explains.

Renewing every bush together keeps front and rear stiffness matched. Changing a few at a time can upset the balance, because new bushes among tired ones make one end or one side of the car react differently. If a set is firmer than the original parts, expect sharper response along with more vibration and noise in the cabin.

    Before ordering, check two points:

    • Vehicle: each set names a model range in its title. Confirm the chassis type, and check that the car still has its original arms, since modified arms may need other bushes.
    • Contents: compare the kit’s contents with the joints on your car, so you know whether anything still has to be sourced separately.

A full set is a big job, so plan it: a press and the right drifts, penetrating oil for seized bolts, and an alignment booked for afterwards. Work on one arm at a time so each new bush goes into the right position, and tighten every pivot with the suspension loaded at ride height. Recheck bolt torques once the car has done a few drives.
