Many Golf Mk6 coilovers are listed by front strut diameter, so find out whether the car has 50 mm or 55 mm struts before anything else. H&R, ST, KW and Bilstein all use the strut size to separate part numbers. The cabriolet and the estate have sets of their own too, and H&R also marks sets for cars without DCC.

KW’s range for the Mk6 steps from the V1 with fixed damping through the V2 and V2 Comfort, which adjust rebound, to the V3 with separate rebound and compression adjustment.
