Nissan Skyline R32 Brake System

Brakes across the R32 coupé and saloon range differ widely, as the listed discs make clear. Up front, they are 256 mm on the GTE, 280 mm on the GTS and GTS-t, 296 mm on the GT-R and 324 mm on the GT-R V-Spec, whose rear disc is 300 mm. The same goes for pads, so match the model named in each listing first.

With that settled, choose the grade. Street pads here include EBC Greenstuff 2000, Hawk PC and DBA’s Street Performance, and for sport use there are DBA Xtreme Performance, Ferodo DS2500 and Hawk HP Plus. Race compounds include Ferodo DS3000 and DS UNO, Hawk Blue 9012 and Pagid RSL 29. Some Ferodo pads are listed for either axle.

Discs are EBC’s plain, slotted and dimpled designs or T2 and T3 discs from DBA. Girodisc lists titanium pad backing plates along with its floating two-piece discs, and an EBC braided line set completes the list.
